Dr Day is a clinical psychologist, executive coach, and public speaker on psychological issues.
Dr Day provides her specialist services to rural Australia and to lawyers, accountants, and engineers and to corporate and government management and staff.
Dr Day is currently working in conjunction with the major agribusiness firm Incitec Pivot Fertilisers to provide programs and advice to assist rural Australians with resilience to anxiety, stress and depression.

Rural Australia
In 2007 Dr Day piloted training seminars throughout Australia to agents and clients of major rural corporations on behalf of the national depression initiative Beyondblue.
Earlier, Dr Day was sponsored by Wesfarmers Ltd identify rural people at risk of (or already suffering from) depression and help them to overcome their situation and achieve their business and personal goals. Her programs on capability building for social and economic development in rural Australia won her the award of Mental Health Researcher of the Year (WA) in 1999.
At the University of Western Australia she founded and taught a capacity building program for social and economic development in rural, regional and remote Western Australia.
